The collection of poems, entitled ‘A Shropshire Lad’ captures Housman’s admiration for the untouched, and, in his eyes, unspoiled landscapes of the English midlands. A place where the sky reflects the endless rolling hills causing the horizon to bleed a shimmering blue. A place where village church spires, fields ‘a’ fallow, and towering trees make up the only breaks across the landscape. This design is a celebration of that sight, and that feeling. Being surrounded by luscious green countryside as far as the eye can see is a quintessentially British phenomenon and one that Housman evoked in these lines.

Half Panama unbleached cotton (heavy weight, textured finish). Stitched on all four sides. Includes hanging loop. Measures approximately 19in x 28in (48cm x 70cm),. Machine wash at 40 degrees max. We recommend that before you use your tea towel for the first time you wash it at least once to soften up the material and make it more absorbent for drying dishes. Please note size can vary slightly.
